馬爾他數位遊牧申請步驟及心得

馬爾他數位遊牧居留許可概述

簽證期限：一年，可續簽。

年齡要求：申請者須年滿18歲，可攜伴侶、未成年子女。

工作性質：能夠利用網路進行遠端工作，且不受地點限制。

國籍限制：申請者必須是第三國國民，且不包括歐盟、歐洲經濟區和瑞士的公民。

收入要求：自2024年4月1日起，申請者需證明年收入至少為42,000歐元 (攜家帶眷要更高

好處：線上可完成，第一年只須繳納母國所得稅，可延簽

問題：馬爾他國家本身特性，島國對外僅靠航運海運，部分用品取得成本高，國家基礎建設待加強

申請時間軸

2024.3.15 馬爾他數位游牧官方網站 https://nomad.residencymalta.gov.mt/ 填寫並提交申請表格&資料。

2024.3.18 完成300歐元申請費用付款並收到收據

2024.5.31 被要求補件提供荷蘭居留證

2024.6.06 收到 Letter of Approval in Principle

同時詢問了辦一些問題

· The expected timeline for processing the final approval after submitting the insurance proof and Proof of accommodation. – Generally this will take between 1 to 2 days (however next week I am on personal leave so any documents will be reviewed on the 26th of June)

· How many days I have to enter Malta after the final approval is issued. – 90 days

· The start of the Malta resident permit – When the card is issued

2024.6.27 提供一年保險跟短期住處收據，並確認承辦查收

2024.6.28 收到Final Approval，Letter上有標明90天內有效

2024.7.09 規劃抵達時間後，回覆email預約2024.9.23 biometric data capturing(主要就是指紋、拍照、簽名)，並被通知須於2024.10.10前提供租屋合約

2024.10.01 提供簽署好的第一間租屋合約

2024.10.03 被要求補件一下資料

ARMS Utility Bill (Readings)
External Photos of the property (clearly showing full address)
Internal door apartment photos (clearly showing apartment number)
Landlord Declaration or Updated Lease Agreement or Housing Registration which states the number of square meters and bedrooms of the property (wording hereunder for the declaration)
